* Minimum stay from 15 December - 10 January is 3 consecutive nights
SECURED BOOKINGS
* The balance (if any) of booking is payable at least 31 days prior to day of initial arrival to confirm the booking unless otherwise noted
COLLECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
* On check in - By law Sea Otters Lodge collects personally identifiable information, such as your email address, name and surname, copy of ID or Passport, home or work address and telephone numbers
* Your privacy is very important to Sea Otters Lodge.
* Sea Otters Lodge will only disclose personal information if required to do so by law, or to comply to an applicable law or with legal process served on Sea Otters Lodge.
* Sea Otters Lodge does not sell, rent or lease its customer list to third parties and/or send unsolicited emails.
NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT TO SECURE THE BOOKING
* We work on a 1st pay 1st serve basis
* Regretfully no booking will be secured unless we have received the minimum non-refundable deposit due
* Minimum 50% non-refundable deposit payment secures a booking unless otherwise noted
* Balance of booking (if any) payable at least 31 days prior to day of initial arrival to confirm the booking
* Booking 31 days or less before the date of initial arrival - Full amount (100%) payable to secure & confirm the booking
CHILD POLICY - CHILDREN U/13
* Children staying in their own room pay the full applicable room rate
* Children U/3 from 10% of sharing rate per night depending on room choice - a sleeping cot will be made available in same room
* No children U/3 allowed in rooms situated on 1st floor level unless otherwise note or agreed upon
* 1 x Child U/13 on a single sleeper couch in the same room sharing with 2 x adults/others from 50% of sharing rate per night depending on room choice
* 1 x Adult + 1 x Child U/13 pay the full applicable room rate
SINGLE SLEEPER COUCH POLICY
* Single sleeper couch is reccommended for a Child U/13 years of age only and will only be made available when booked
* Any person 13 years of age and older that is making use of the single sleeper couch do so at their own risk
* The single sleeper couch is a couch that folds into a thick single mattress on the floor
* Maximum 1 x sleeper couch allowed in a room, subject to availability
BREAKFAST POLICY
* Served English Breakfast is not included in the room rates and is available at an optional extra cost during stay SQ

* It is the responsibility of the guest to provide us of any dietary requirements i.e. Halaal and/or Vegetarian on booking of service in order to source produce

* Early check in from 12 pm subject to room availability and prior arrangement and confirmation
ROOM CHECK OUT
* On day of departure - No late room departure allowed after 10:30 am
* Late room check-out fees applicable for late room check-out / departure from 10:31 am onwards from 40% - 100% of daily room fee
CANCELLATION POLICY
* To avoid any misunderstanding, a booking constitutes a binding contract
* Only written cancellations will be accepted
*
Any cancellation 0 - 31 days before the date of initial arrival / check in - the guest will be liable for payment in full (100%) of the original booking made - NO REFUND
* Any cancellation 32 - 60 days before day of initial arrival / check in a 50% cancellation fee will be levied on the full value of the original booking made
* Any cancellation 61 days or more before day of initial arrival / check in a 25% cancellation fee will be levied on the full value of the original booking made
* In the event of a no show and/or premature departure the guest will be liable for the full stay of the original booking made, we are not obliged to any refund
INSURANCE
* All guests are advised to take out travel insurance to cover the full cost of their accommodation booking in the event of a cancellation
* We will seek full compensation for any cancelled accommodation booking, including no show and/or premature curtailment
CORONAVIRUS / COVID-19
* The coronavirus pandemic has been declared a stateof disaster in South Africa – As long as the state of disaster stays in effect the applicable Covid-19 regulations on the day will apply – No refunds will be made, and our cancellation policy stays in effect
* We adhere to Covid-19 health and safety protocols and expect our guests to do the same while residing at Sea Otters Lodge
COVID-19 ACCOMMODATION POLICY
* Sea Otters Lodge is an Essential Service accommodation provider
* Accommodation will currently be provided to stays according to the Covid-19 regulations in place
* Should international and/or over the border and/or inter-provincial local travel restrictions be promulgated and it effects the original dates of stay booked then the guest may postpone the booking to a later date subject to the Covid-19 Accommodation Postponement Policy or request a refund of up to 85% of the total booking value of stay booked subject that the stay booked is paid in full
* Should a guest contract Covid-19 prior to date of stay and it affects the original dates of stay booked then the guest may postpone the booking to a later date subject to the Covid-19 Accommodation Postponement Policy
COVID-19 ACCOMMODATION POSTPONEMENT POLICY
* Subject to availability, applicable rates for the new stay booked, the original stay booked is paid in full and subject to the Covid-19 Accommodation Policy clause, guest will be issued an Accommodation voucher to the same value as the original booking made valid for a period of 3 (Three) years from date of original arrival, please note that the full voucher must be used once off and no refund and/or any change will be given
* A guest that have contracted Covid-19 must supply proof of positive test result to postpone their original booking, prior to day of original arrival, to a later date for the same number of nights stay booked or longer, subject to availability, applicable rates for the new stay booked and the original stay booked is paid in full, guest will be issued an Accommodation voucher to the same value as the original booking made valid for a period of 3 (Three) years from date of original arrival, please note that the full voucher must be used once off and no refund and/or any change will be given
